A Story by Lindsay DeLorme

My name is Lindsay DeLorme and I have been and always will be a runner (all thanks to my father). My father has been a runner for years and years. He was and still is a huge fan of Bill Rogers. When I was a little girl he used to take me to all of the running races in and around Michigan. At one of the races we were at Bill Rogers was there. My father Rick DeLorme talked with him and asked him to sign a picture for me. Years and years down the road my father found this picture. On it he writes "Lindsay I hope that you become a runner. Bill Rogers" When he shoulded me this just a few weeks ago it just made me feel amazing, because of course that is what I have become over the years. Now I am 21 and run at Eastern Michigan University and am loving it! So thank you Bill Rogers for your inspirational motivation!
